What I've Been Wearing

Turquoise is my favorite color so I think it only makes sense that blue and green is my go to color combination. Ha - just noticed that you can see some of my blue and green home decor behind me.  This necklace was a Target treasure from a couple years ago. Once in a while they have a buy-one-get-one-half-off on accessories sale and I've always been able to find something fun and unique. It's obviously not the highest quality of jewelry but since I have the tendency to loose it (I still have hope but I haven't seen my engagement ring in almost 2 years 😟) the price (and quality) is perfect for me.  This dress is one of my favorites. It's from eShakti  and unlike my Target jewelry the quality is amazing.  These are new jeans from Banana Republic . I love that they are high waisted; they come almost up to my belly button. They are also super comfy and seem to have the perfect amount of stretch. My only complaint is that they pick up lin

Daddy Daughter Dance

If you ask Little Lady what her favorite event of the year is she'll most likely say the Daddy Daughter Dance. Her and Jeremy have been going every year since she was three. We spend the day of the dance prepping...painting her nails, curling her hair, adding a bit of makeup. She also picks out Jeremy's clothes for him.   The pictures below are so precious to me because Big Buddy took them as Mini Man was directing Little Lady on how to pose. It was so sweet to watch...they are such good brothers. Between them and her dad, I know that if any boy has any hope of stealing her heart he's going to have to be quite remarkable - the three of them of set some pretty high standards.  Jeremy's friend, who is a florist, always makes a corsage for Little Lady and boutonniere for her dada.  The dance is definitely geared toward little girls. Every year, there has been a very loud sing-a-long to  Let it Go - Jeremy always asks whe re the  ibupr

What I've Been Wearing

This dress is one of my favorite Goodwill finds. I adore turquoise and green and this patten reminds me of a peacock. The dress is also super soft and warm. The only problem it's a bit too short...more like tunic instead of a dress. To counter this I always wear it over leggings/pants or layer it with another dress or skirt. This time I paired it with another thrift treasure - a silky turquoise shirt dress. Here are some other ways I have layer this dress: one , two , three , four , five , and  six . The rest of the week was all about leggings and warm tops. Jeremy got me the leggings below as a Christmas present - I'm a proud Slytherin! It took forever for them to come, he order them in early December and I just received them last week. It was a bit frustrating but the leggings are the comfiest pair I've ever own and supposedly You Statement has revamped their shipping procedures.  😂😂😂 Mini Man photobombing my picture by crawling out the baseme
