Last week Little Lady turned 3! We had a party for her on Saturday (which I'll share more about later) but on the actual date of her birthday we celebrated with donuts in the morning and then some ice cream in the afternoon. It's been so much fun to ask her age this week since she always responds with such unabashed delight, "3!"
Lately, all the kids have gotten a bit in to yoga which has been a great way for them to release some of that pint up winter energy. Little Lady is definitely the largest fan, she asks for a yoga video first thing in the morning when she wakes up.
We had a good day of school last week; the kids were eager to learn and hard workers.
Since it's been so frigid lately we did escape to Mcdonalds one afternoon - a good playplace is a blessing!
This post is part of weekly series inspired in part by Bob Bennett's song "Small Graces"
Sometimes they slip by without notice
Sometimes they are very hard to see
Other times it's all so clear when they are happening to me...
These are the small graces, the little moments when the miracles come...
Small graces leading to the larger one...
They are a reminder to the heart there is more to the life than meets the eye...
He is in the small graces, the little moments when the miracles come...
Small graces pointing me to the larger one...
Little glimpses of the kingdom come
She's a cutie! The sight word snowball printable looks like a great activity.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I agree, but I'm a little biased. The snowball activity has been really great for our kids - a fun way to practice sight words. If you are interested you can download it here - http://thefirstgradeparade.blogspot.com/2014/01/theres-snow-time-like-winter.html
