Little Lady's Tea Party

Earlier this month we had a little birthday celebration for Little Lady. We invited 8 of her favorite friends and their dolls. It was a really sweet time.  If you've read about any of my other parties you know that I almost always experience some sort of mishap...the Lord is still rooting that desire for perfection and the pride that comes with it out of my heart. This time, about five minute before the guests arrived, the wind blew our chalkboard off the porch and it broke in to about dozen pieces.  It was fine - it's always fine! Nobody comes to our parties to be wowed by my skills but because they love us and want to celebrate with our us.  Because Little Lady's birthday is so close to Valentines Day we ran with the red, pink, and heart theme. Valentine's Day 2017

It been hard for me to find time this past month to visit/update this blog. We've continued to struggle with various cold and flu bugs. Plus we've had quite a bit of work done on our home. We usually have some sort of sweet pastry for breakfast but I was just too tired to do any baking. I ended up sending Jeremy to the store for some fun cereal - the kids didn't complain. 😉 Our other traditions are red and pink balloons covering the living room floor and a heart search. We write ten things we enjoy/love about each kid on the hearts and then hide th...

What I've Been Wearing

Oy! I feel like a broken record but we are continuing to struggle with on and off sickness. 😷😩 And on top of that we are having work done on our home. Mothering four kids stretches me enough; adding all this extra drama has me feeling frazzled and craving sleep.  Putting on pretty clothes helps lift my mood though and gives me a boost of energy to keep moving. Here some outfits I've been wearing -  If you are looking for more outfit inspiration please check out these link parties:  Watch What I'm Wearing ,  Style Sessions ,  Trend Spin ,  Pleated Poppy  and  A Labour of Life .
