This post is going up a little later than usual because Jeremy and I just returned from a extended weekend trip to Nashville. We left the kids with Maca and stayed with a good friend. It was our first time visiting the city and we loved it. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to visit again soon.
This dress was bit a of a risky purchase for me. I was unsure about the lace and the hot pink, though I am so glad I convinced myself to go for it - it's hard to say no when it's on clearance and you have a gift-card. I bought it with a summer wedding in mind but it's quickly become one of my favorite pieces to layer, see here & here.

Words cannot express how enamored I am with this dress. Seriously, many childhood fantasies have been fulfilled. It's my second dress from the online boutique, eshakti, and I am continually amazed by the quality of their pieces - the fabric and attention to detail (lining, buttons, hidden zipper) are very impressive. I also love that they offer customization. For this dress I had the cap sleeves removed and the skirt shortened to knee length; it's nice to the get the exact fit I want so easily.
Through March 20, 2013 Eshakti is offering Joyfully Weary readers a 20% off discount; just enter JYFLLYWERY at checkout. Furthermmore, if you are a first time Eshakti customer you'll recieve an additional $25 off your order.

When he doesn't have class Jeremy sometimes goes to Starbucks to work; it's more productive then hanging in his office where all his students can find him. On this day he was extra sweet and brought me a macchiato so I thought I'd do the "blogger thing" and pose with it...yeah, it just made taking outfit picture even more awkward. Very thankful for my sweet man who not only is thoughtful enough to bring my coffee but kind enough not to bust up laughing as he snaps pictures of me holding it...this blogging thing is just plain silly sometimes.
